Our cooperative of 60 women weavers in Bolgatanga Upper East Region creates traditional bolga baskets using sustainable elephant grass and natural dyes. Every basket is unique, fairly paid, and ships worldwide.
About the Founder β Abena Atinga
Growing up in Bolgatanga, I watched my mother weave baskets to supplement the family income. In 2019 I formed a women's cooperative to ensure fair wages and access to global markets through e-commerce.
